Doctors at the Duke Sleep Center are currently conducting a research study involving an investigational drug for the treatment of insomnia. If you often have problems getting to sleep or wake up during the night, you may qualify for this study.
Volunteers who qualify will receive study drug and study related medical care free of charge. You do not need medical insurance in order to participate. You will be compensated for your time and travel.
We are looking for people age 65 and older who:
- Are in good general health
- Have had insomnia for at least 1 month
- Sleep less than 6 hours on several nights a week.
